We suggest that you purchase your own hand tools and books. If you cannot, then we can provide Loaner Hand Tools. There is a deposit of $50.00 in case of loss or theft of any tool.  This deposit can be used towards the purchase of any tool at the end of your training or refunded. The tools are quality brands including Mustad, Diamond, Anvil Brand, NC Tool, Save Edge, etc.

All students have the option of buying their own Tool Kit. This is a basic set of tools that every farrier will need to shoe horses. The tools are all good quality brand name tools such as Diamond, Anvil Brand, Mustad, NC Tool, SaveEdge, and other brands. The school offers these tools, the school manual, and the textbook (The Principals of Horsehoeing III).

We offer a variety of name brands and will be glad to assist you in choosing the best for you. The price lists are available when you begin your class. In planning a tools budget, we estimate spending an additional $500.00 to $1,200.00 in equipment other than hand tools needed to begin shoeing.

We accept Visa and MasterCard and personal checks from the state of Georgia. Please NO out of state checks. We suggest your payments be made by cash, money orders, cashiers checks, etc.
